EDDYVILLE, KY — Kentucky State Police arrested a South Carolina man after they found 11 pounds of marijuana in his car.
On Tuesday around 1:00 p.m., troopers stopped a car near the 45 mile marker on Interstate 24 for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, troopers found 11 pounds of high grade marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash in the car. A pill believed to be a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance was also found.
The driver, 22-year-old Timothy Crobin, Jr. of Chapin, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with careless driving, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail. An investigation is ongoing.
