Five Salem residents have now been arrested by Salem Police after the execution of two search warrants that resulted in the recovery of stolen property and drugs.
Salem Police arrested two additional suspects Sunday night, including one of the occupants where the search warrants were executed. 37-year-old Gilbert Sidener of 17-02 West Bennett is being held in the Marion County Jail for residential burglary, theft, and possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. 36-year-old April Lepes of East Church was also arrested and is being held for residential burglary and theft.
Three others were arrested in an outbuilding converted into an apartment at the residence when the second search warrant was executed early Sunday morning. 42-year-old Daniel Lepes of East Church and 35-year-old Annette Lynn of Jeanne Drive are both being held for residential burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. 46-year-old James Simpson of Charleston Road remains in custody for possession of under five grams of meth.
