After spending several days investigating whether 32-year-old Daniel Nations was a suspect in an Indiana double-murder earlier this year, Indiana State Police returned home Monday.
In a news release, the officers said: “The Indiana State Police can share, that thus far, there has been no information developed to specifically include or exclude Daniel Nations as a suspect in the Delphi homicides”
The Delphi homicides are in reference to the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German, who were found dead along a trail near Delphi, Indiana in February this year.
The Indiana investigators said they were called on Sept. 29 to investigate a possible link to the murders and returned to Indiana Monday afternoon.
Nations was stopped for having a broken tail light last Monday afternoon in Woodland Park. In the probable cause affidavit, Officer Timothy Bradly told the court that he recognized the car Nations was riding in as matching a description given for the suspected menacing case from El Paso County.
