Jordan Michael Barnes, 22, who listed a home address in Goose Creek, South Carolina, was charged Sunday by Tusculum police with possession of a Schedule IV drug for resale. Barnes was also served an active violation of probation warrant. While working on a drug investigation, a plastic bag containing a white powder that Barnes allegedly said was crushed Xanax that he obtained out of state for sale in Tusculum was seized, Officer Dustin Jeffers said in a report. The powder weighed 31.2 grams, the report said. Bond for Barnes was set at $2,000 pending a first scheduled appearance Monday in court.
Andwele Omari Richards, 19, who listed a home address of Ellenwood, Georgia, was charged Saturday by Tusculum police with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Dustin Jeffers said in a report that during the course of a drug investigation, Richards was found in possession of digital scales, a box of plastic bags and a glass jar with residue that had a strong odor of marijuana. Bond for Richards was set at $1,000 pending a first scheduled appearance
