Following his January arrest after police officers raided his Florida home, Kodak Black has pled not guilty to two charges, according to Local 10 ABC News. Originally, the rapper was slapped with a laundry list of charges, including grand theft of a firearm, child neglect, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon, and two counts of probation violation.
Last week, three of those criminal charges—namely, possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, grand theft of a firearm, and child neglect—were dismissed by the State of Florida, and today, the rapper appeared in Broward County court to plead not guilty to possession of cannabis and possession of ammunition.
The January raid followed an Instagram Live video that depicted people in Kodak Black’s home smoking marijuana near an infant and holding a handgun. Officers allegedly found almost 95 grams of marijuana in the house. The rapper has been in jail since his arrest on January 18 and continues to be held without bond. He is due to appear in court next on May
