PLEASANTON — An Oakland man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of marijuana after police say he caused a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday night that left four people, including himself, injured.
One person was in critical condition and two others in serious condition, police said.
The collision happened about 6:53 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Foothill Road and Laurel Creek Drive. and was witnessed by a Pleasanton police officer.
Police said a blue Nissan driven by Elijah Henry, 18, of Oakland, was going eastbound on Laurel Creek Drive when it ran a red light at Foothill and collided with a Chevy Sonic that was going south on Foothill.
A Toyota RAV4 was also involved in the wreck, police said.
