Guns and marijuana seized (North Charleston Police Department)
North Charleston police seized guns and drugs Thursday night in the parking lot of a Rivers Avenue business.
Police charged Andrew J. Davis, with unlawful carry of a pistol, possession of stolen firearm, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine base.
On Thursday night, officers went to the parking lot of a Rivers Avenue business in reference to a follow up visit. An officer told his colleagues that he saw a male subject ducking behind a vehicle, Davis.
Police say as he was ducking and was seen throwing a Glock hand gun over the fence in between two businesses, and he then attempted to walk away.
NCPD says officers were then able to confront and detain Davis.
The pistol was recovered and found to be stolen through NCPD, police say.
Police also charged Michael D. Peterson, of Charleston, with unlawful carry of a firearm, simple possession of a marijuana and
