PRINCETON — The case of a Bluefield man charged with murder following the early January shooting death of a Maryland man was sent Wednesday to the Mercer County Grand Jury after a magistrate ruled that the case had probable cause.
Juwan Rasheed Rowe, 23, of Bluefield came before Magistrate Susan Honaker for a preliminary hearing. Rowe is facing charges including murder defined as first or second-degree murder, robbery and conspiracy.
Rowe was arrested along with 20-year-old Joseph Patrick Wellman of Welch after the shooting Jan. 3 of Roderick Quincy, 43, of Baltimore, Md. Quincy later died at a Charleston hospital.

testified that the case began the morning of Jan. 3 when Mercer County 911 received a call from a Bluefield Avenue business that a person had been shot.
