A out-of-state man was charged with methamphetamine possession just before 5 a.m. Thursday at Huck’s on Lafayette Road, according to a Hopkinsville police report.
Officers were called in reference to a man, Tanner M. Zahn, 28, Gaffney, South Carolina, allegedly being intoxicated driving a moving truck. When officers made contact, Zahn reportedly consented to a search where a marijuana pipe and plastic baggies containing methamphetamine were found. Additionally, a handgun was discovered with hollow point bullets.
Zahn was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), using restricted ammo during felony (no shots), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
