Three Tioga County residents face drug charges in Old Lycoming Township after police were dispatched or a reported drug overdose Nov. 7.
According to Old Lycoming Township Police Chief Joseph Hope, police and emergency personnel responded to the 8200 block of Route 15 in Lycoming Township and found Cameron Copley, 29, of 61 Jackson Road, Mainesburg, suffering from a heroin overdose in the back seat of a vehicle parked along the highway.
Copely was treated by paramedics at the scene for the overdose.
Police said the vehicle driver, Linnette Plank, 47, of 581 Plank Road, Liberty, and front seat passenger, Matthew McConomy, 20, of 2257 Charleston Road, Wellsboro, had traveled with Copley to the Williamsport area to obtain heroin.
After purchasing the drugs, all three allegedly ingested the drugs while en route back to Tioga County, according to police. Plank was charged with possession of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
