KANAWHA COUNTY, W.VA. (WSAZ) — UPDATE 11/15/17 @ 11:45 p.m.
Three people are facing attempted murder charges after a police chase Wednesday in eastern Kanahwa County.
Armando Castillo of Cedar Grove, Bryan Cordona of South Bend, Indiana and Anthony Francis who is also believed to be from Indiana are all charged with attempted murder, wanton endangerment and fleeing after shooting at Pratt Police during a high-speed chase.
The incident started around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday when police attempted to pull over a suspect for speeding. According to police, 10 to 15 shots were fired from the suspects’ vehicle at a Pratt Police Officer’s cruiser.
Police said they believe two of the suspects were shooting at officers.
The trio lead police on a chase to Montgomery. They were caught when they crashed the car into a hillside.
Police also found marijuana inside of the car.
At the trio’s arraignment Thursday night, we learned that Cardona and Francis are also wanted out of Indiana on drug charges.
Two of the suspects have tattoos indicating they are part of the Latin Kings
