Several members and an associate of a violent Walterboro-area street gang were sentenced in federal court in Charleston this week.
In all, eight men connected to the Cowboys gang received sentences related to anti-racketeering or conspiracy charges, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The following were convicted of RICO conspiracy:
Khiry Broughton, aka KBlacka, received a nine-year sentence. Clyde Naquan Hampton, aka One Loyal Shooter, received a 12-year, seven-month sentence. Matthew Rashaun Jones, aka Boogie Mac, received a 12-year, seven-month sentence. William Lamont Cox, aka Wataz, received a sentence of time served.
The following were convicted of attempted murder in aid of racketeering:
Bryant Jameek Davis, aka Savo, received a sentence of time served. Quintin Fishburne received a sentence of time served. Zaquann Ernest Hampton, aka TOB, received a seven-year sentence. Christopher Sean Brown, aka Roughish, received a nine-year sentence.
All eight were also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay for the medical costs of people injured while they committed their crimes, according to the Justice Department.
