CHARLESTON — A woman’s guilty plea to a marijuana offense led to a record of a conviction in that case as well as another for which she was convicted earlier.
Samantha M. Reavley, 24, for whom court records list an address of 2308 1/2 Champaign Ave., Mattoon, entered the plea to a charge of delivery of cannabis.
The charged accused Reavley of selling or otherwise distributing at least one-third of an ounce of marijuana on March 23.
With the agreement reached in her case, she was sentenced to two years of probation for the conviction that could have also resulted in a prison sentence of one to three years.
Reavley also admitted to a petition to revoke her original sentence for the earlier conviction, which was also for a marijuana offense. The earlier sentence of two years of first offender probation was revoked and a conviction for that offense was placed on her record.
